database error code : 468 - select error: cannot resolve collation conflict between SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS and Latin1_General_CI_AI

My client's SQL server has been setup as collation Latin1_General_CI_AI instead as the same as the databases that has been restored e.g. SQL_Latin1_General_CP1_CI_AS. Is there perhaps a way that I can change the server collation to be the same as the database files or will I have to re-install MS SQL Server 2005? The databases (9 of them) has been restored from MS SQL server 2000 to MS SQL server 2005. I do not want to rebuild all tables of the 9 different databases as this will be a lengthy process.
