A client of mine installed an sql 2005 sqlexpress on his server after a standard version was already installed. I tried to upgrade him to a later version of my software and create a new instance on the sql server 2005. While running the install
I got the following error: An installation package for the product Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Backward compatability cannot be found. Try the installation again using a valid copy of the installation package 'SQLServer2005_BC.msi' The install
error text seems to be looking for this file in the SQLEXpress folder. ANy ideas on whats causing this or possible solutions to try?
